Barca Tapas and Cava Bar Review

  • Rating Rating 1.8/5
Visted Barca Thurs 9th July for the 2 Course Market Menu offer. My starter of crab cakes was miniscule as was my friend's mussels. My main meal of Teriyaki Chicken Skewers was also an extremely small portion with the rice tasting extremely processed, almost like rubber. The chicken was lovely but only 4 pieces of it in total. Was starving after the tiny portions on set menu so opted for a dessert and chose the Toffee and Vanilla Cheescake which I cannot fault. Tasted absolutely heavenly and was a fab portion size. Funny that, seeing as it was the only meal I paid "full price" for. The service was deplorable, waited for over 20 mins for starters and people who arrived after us were served first with no explanation. Waitress was very sour faced and made the 10% service charge seem like a joke. A dissapointing experience in all... except for dessert.
