We dined using the 2 courses plus glass of house wine for £13.95 - super value. I chose the sushi as a main, and although delicious, was a rather small portion (5 pieces) so left me still peckish after eating. All the more room for dessert! I had a delicious chocolate, peanut and caramel pancake which was totally moreish. The only downside was the service towards the end of the evening. We waited 45 mins at our table and with not a single member of staff coming round to the restaurant areas to check on tables. When one did we tried to get her attention but she seemed to either not hear or ignore and powered down the stairs. When I got up and went to the bar to request the bill, four staff were congregated at the (empty) bar, chatting, so could not see why they were so neglectful when the restaurant nor bar was not busy and so many staff were working.
Overall great food and friendly, but inattentive, staff.
