The ambience, the service, the live piano music were enjoyable. Aubergine Parmigiana from pre-theatre menu was a disappointment. I also ordered a starter with the very appealing name "Warm goat’s cheese with baby fig, candied walnuts and balsamic dressing," however the goat cheese looked more like a dollop of fromage blanc and not like a slice of goat cheese. The best choice of a starter from this menu would be salmon. Otherwise we have had a lovely time in The Baby Grand along with many other visitors - the place was full around 7pm, and we probably will return for a drink or two and to listen to the pianist, however for food we will go elsewhere next time.
