Atlantic Brasserie Review

  • Rating Lovely place for a catch up lunch with friends (Rating 4.6/5)
This was our first visit and I'm sure we will be back. From the minute we arrived to the moment we left the service was first class - our waitress was attentive, friendly and helpful without ever being intrusive. The decor is classy and elegant whilst still feeling welcoming and comfortable and the whole place just had a lovely ambience that was perfect for a birthday lunch with friends. We ordered from the £15 for 2 courses menu and enjoyed the mussels and tiger prawn starters then the roast chicken and duck for main. For the price the food was pretty good (the sauce for the mussels was delicious) although the chicken was just a little dry and the "roast potatoes" not as tasty as they could have been. The wine list is on the expensive side with the cheapest red a Merlot at £20, that being said the Merlot was pleasant and very drinkable. I would definitely recommend Atlantic because it is a lovely place to eat, drink and chat in and the service was fantastic. The food might not be exceptional but we felt the prices were worth how enjoyable the whole experience was for us.
