Ardnamurchan Review

  • Rating A showcase for fresh, local produce! (Rating 5.0/5)
We were there for my daughter's birthday meal - 5 of us ranging from 16-65. Everyone enjoyed the food, the service and the ambience...even the grumpy teenager. The food made the most of fresh Scottish produce from start to finish with an innovative take on some classic dishes, well presented and efficiently served by their friendly, helpful staff. Langoustines, vegetarian Scotch egg, fennel, garlic and turnip soup and duck leg confit made for a good start, followed by Ardnamurchan wild venison stew, free range chicken, sustainable fish pie and 40 day matured steak complete our two course choices. Those who could manage opted for a lovely selection of Scottish cheeses, and sticky toffee pudding.
