This is actually the second time we've eaten at Antipasti through the 5pm deal. There's a great selection from the set menu. This time I had the crayfish open sandwich, my husband the garlic mushrooms - both were light enough for a starter but also filling enough that we weren't starving until the main arrive. My husband had the chicken dish this time which was delicous - black pudding mash wasn't my idea of tasty food but it was scrummy and I'm not a black pudding fan. I had the pasta for my main and I really enjoyed it, although it was a bit heavy on the oil for my liking. We decided not to have a desert with our meal as we were already quite full and were given the option of coffee instead, which I thought was a lovely touch.
The service was really good, not too attentive which can get annoying but the waiting staff were about enough in case we needed something.
I would highly recommend this restaurant, especially for 3 courses for under £10!
