Table booked for 7pm on a Thu. We were a little early, and as table was not ready were asked to have a seat at the bar.
At £8.25 for a regular gin, we opted for glass of Pinot Grigio, cold and wet, but didn't taste of very much. Eventually shown to our table around 7:10, and just minutes after being given menu asked were we ready to order, clearly not.
In fairness, five of the six courses were very nice, as was the bottle of merlot, however my chicken was very tough and I left most of it. This was a chicken in pasta dish but chicken tasted as though it had been microwaved. We weren't asked in the course of the meal if everything was ok, and my half finished plate was not remarked on when table was cleared.
We went elsewhere for after dinner drinks.
