Amarone Glasgow Review

  • Rating A super restaurant (Rating 4.8/5)
This was my second visit to Amarone in Glasgow in less than a week. Once again the service was first class and the ambiance in the restaurant is very pleasant indeed. Starters and main courses were absolutely excellent. My fellow diner's tiramisu was excellent. However, my panna cotta was not at all pleasant. It was heavy and bland. I ate very little of it. When the waitress clear away our plates she asked if there was a problem with it and I told her that I thought it was pretty awful. She was very pleasant and she apologised and, when bringing our bill, gave each of us a glass of limoncello which I thought was a nice touch. I really like this restaurant and will certainly be back again. But I won't order the panna cotta!
