Booked this following a fantastic reiew in The Herald, but sadly we never had the same experience. We were intitially seated by the door and were moved when asked as it was -3 outside. We felt thisevery time the door was opened. However, after 10 minutes, we were moved back to the door as the table had been reserved by someone else. The free wine offered went some way towards making up for this, but this was short-lived when a scarf, cardigan and fleece had to be applied. The starter was decent enough, but it took another 60 minutes before the amin course arrived; one had to be returned as it was cold! The service overall was very poor; it was as if we weren't here. No-one came to ask if the meal was okay or if we wanted anymore to drink, plates were slow to be cleared and the desert menu wasn't offered after the main course.
