The meal was excellent!!! No complaints about that. However, children are not welcome (was told over phone that boss doesn't like babies crying). I was on tender hooks the whole time as my 3 year old is a bit naughty. The staff are either indifferent or aloof, cant decide which. Asked for chips for my Dad instead of rice but when his meal arrived with no chips I queried this and was told "no chips". My husband (who is Turkish) asked a senior waiter for chips and the chef must have cut a potatoe and fried a few there and then. Why couldn't they have done this in the first place and why did they not tell us is was not possible at the time of ordering? Its a pity the chef's good work is marred by the waiting staff's attitude to customers. Oh, and I noticed from the pre-theatre menu that you are not allowed to use mobiles in the restaurant! Such a pity as I hoped this would become a regular's of mine and my husband to help him with homesickness.
