Was impressed to begin with. They phoned us to double check the reservation, they had been the only restaurant to do this.
Managed to find the restaurant, we were only four minutes late, after travelling all the way from Perth, the waiter looked at his watch and said it would be ok, I thought this was a bit rude.
We mentioned we had booked with 5pm, I think the waiter thought this was a hint to bring the champagne cocktails, which it wasn't, he said "I will just bring them!"
The cocktail was gorgeous. The whole atmosphere was rushed. I had the feta cheese parcels to begin with these were quite nice. Then the lamb kebab for main course, this was quite dry.
The guitar player was good but not on for very long. The best bit were the dancers, it is nice to get entertainment with the meal, but it did make the waitress forget to come back for our desert order, they lost out on service as I was going to order a liquer too, in the end we just got the bill.
When we went up to pay there was no "did you enjoy your meal" just the waiter saying to the waitress to "set up another table."
It was a shame after travelling so far and looking forward to the meal, after the reviews and awards it has won, to be treated like this, we won't be going back.
