Alla Turca is one of Glasgow's gems. Tucked away in Pitt Street in the last place you would expect it, it was heaving when we arrived at 7pm both upstairs AND downstairs. Service was great - our waitperson helped us a little with the strange sounding dishes and I eventually plumped for the mezze - compelling my wife to choose the same - but it was marvellous. 10 small (quite large small) tastes. I was still eating after our guests had finished their melon and feta. It is extra but worth it. Main course was from the grill and although it initially looks small, does fill you up. The sweet was unexciting even though I had the baklava but the glass of KIR that goes with it was brilliant.
All in all, one of the best 5pms around and we'll def be back.
