Alla Italia Ristorante Italiano Review

My husband and I were going to a gig at the O2 and looking for somewhere handy for Sauchiehall Street. We're not local to Glasgow but I had been there years ago for a Turkish night and thought perhaps it had rebranded to Italian. Turns out it is the same place and therefore had a choice of menus. We stuck with the Italian food but it does seem the Turkish menu is the larger of the two. We both ordered Bruschetta starters. For mains we had swordfish (£2 supplement) and pudding was creme brullee and panacotta. The meatballs could have been seasoned a bit more but the sauce was tasty and the swordfish was too. Really lovely food and great service. There was even live music starting as we left. Felt as though we were in Turkey. My only negative was for steak there was a £4 supplement and you would have needed to add another few pounds for a side, so the price for that would soon add up.
