Tasty & Generous Portions + Great Value

We booked on the £6.95 lunch offer which includes a soft drink, choices are good and the portions are huge. Food was really tasty. Service was quick which was ideal as we were on our lunch hour. The staff are very friendly. Milkshakes are unreal, I'd recommend as a dessert!

First time in Absurd Bird meeting for lunch, so saw the deal on 5pm which was excellent value. It was great, the sides were plentiful in fact couldn't finish them. The chicken was cooked to perfection plus you got a soft drink included too. Staff were so friendly & helpful overall a great experience definitely go back.

American restaurant in Glasgow

Following successful restaurants in London, Bath, Exeter and Leeds, Absurd Bird has brought its brand of deep fried Southern cuisine to Glasgow.

The restaurant’s interior looks like Dolly Parton was given free rein of the decor, with neon cowboy boots and country lyrics donning the walls alongside kitsch brocade wallpaper and velvet booths.

With a wide range of waffles, wings and burgers on the menu, and a bewitching cocktail list, the city centre restaurant is ideal for a fun catch up with friends.

Chicken and deep fried dishes

If you love chicken and deep fried food, you’ll love the menu at Absurd Bird in Glasgow. Diners can roll up their sleeves and get stuck into a range of burgers, wings, sliders, waffles and fried chicken.

Those who are watching their figure can opt for one of the wraps or salad bowls.

Inventive combinations on the menu include wings served with an Irn Bru sauce and buffalo chicken served with a deep fried Babybel and wotsit dip.

And the indulgence continues all the way to the desserts, which include peanut butter cheesecake and a cookie ice cream sandwich.

The restaurant also has a mammoth drinks menu of cocktails, shooters, spirits, wine, beer and moonshine, which was illegally crafted during the prohibition and now brought to Glasgow, thanks to Absurd Bird.
