Booked for a family dinner pre Christmas Panto at the Kings at wished I hadn't bothered. Started off badly when we arrived to find a queue with customers who were booked for dinner being turned away. The manager advised me our table was almost ready if we would wait 5mins. It was nearer 20mins before we were seated in quite honestly the worst table I've ever been seated at in a restaurant, not one of the four of us faced each other so conversation was impossible. We had advised the manager when we arrived that we had a tight schedule and only had an hour and half to get dinner and he assured us there would be no problem. I suspected things weren't going to work out well when it took 20 mins for our drinks to arrive and 45 mins mins for our starters. By the time the mains came it was a rush job with no time left for desserts. We made protests to the manager and he said he would take them off the bill. When the bill arrived there was little or no discount, when questioned why were were paying for the desserts and free cocktails he advised that through 5pm they were complimentary! Still managed to charge 10% service fees though despite the poor service. The food was pretty bad too so my advice is avoid, worst I've experience through the 5pm site and will damage their reputation if more people have an experience like me.
