Cosy city centre Italian restaurant
A Little Taste of Italy – Ristorante Teatro is a cosy and lively restaurant in Glasgow city centre, near the Kings Theatre and offering authentic Italian cuisine made with fresh and locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant also has a mini cocktail bar where guests can enjoy drinks while listening to live background music.
Pizzas & pastas made daily, varied menus
A Little Taste of Italy’s signature dishes include the cappesante piccolo (Shetland king scallops, Italian sausage, lemon butter & rocket) and house speciality misto alla griglia (grilled mini fillet steak, chicken breast and Italian sausage with truffle oil mashed potato).
Classic items such as spaghetti carbonara, risottos, calamari fritti and (of course) lasagna can also be found on the restaurant’s menu. For diners with a sweet tooth, there may be some difficulty in choosing which dessert to order. The traditional tiramisu, however, is favourite of regular diners.
Close to Charing Cross, city centre transport links
A Little Taste of Italy can be found on Elmbank Street, with payable parking at Elmbank Street car park a short distance from the restaurant. Glasgow’s Kings Theatre, Charing Cross train station and the busy Bath Street are each a stone’s throw away. Bus stops and taxi ranks are also nearby.
