29 - The Grill At The Square Review

  • Rating Rating 4.8/5
The complimentary freshly baked homemade bread is a nice touch. £15.92 for 2 courses and a glass of house wine. I choose the confit duck and ham hock terrine with pickles and apple chutney as a starter of which I loved how the chutney went well with the terrine. My main was the game pie with braised seasonal game and root vegetables with fresh butter pastry and creamed potatoes. I highly recommend this as no where else I have been in Glasgow (and I do frequent out lots for dinning ) do this. Its very tasty and the pastry is perfect. 29 grill at the square marriages their food well together and the service is always fantastic. When I asked my parents where did they want to go for their birthdays they mentioned here as we went before and they were very happy with service and the food. Only small thing I would say is I did comment it was both my folks birthday when we were dinning and this wasn't picked up on. Other establishment have picked up on this but apart from that its superb!
