Welcoming neighbourhood bar
The 100 Acres is a welcoming bar on Curtis Avenue in Rutherglen in Glasgow’s Southside. In addition to the well used Trevi Suite function room, the 100 Acres attracts its customers with a vibrant roster of events. DJs, bands, bingo, karaoke and a pub quiz all vie for attention along with darts, dominoes and all the sports you can handle on the TV screens. The outdoor seating is very popular in the warmer months.
Bar food classics and more
As well as light bites, a kids menu, Sunday roasts and afternoon tea, 100 Acres has an extensive main menu of salads, pasta, steaks and burgers. Popular main courses include bangers and mash, chicken Balmoral and sweet chilli chicken noodles.
You can globetrot with enchiladas, curries and Cajun dishes or opt for home-grown flavours such as poached salmon, Caledonian chicken and steak pie. If you fancy something sweet to finish off, the dessert selection includes caramel shortcake sundae, apple pie and, of course, sticky toffee pudding.
Rutherglen transport links
There is extensive parking available at the 100 Acres and the nearest train station is Croftfoot, a ten minute walk from the bar. Hampden Park is close enough to hear the Hampden roar.
