Indian restaurant in Bearsden
Opened in the summer of 2017, Raja Rani is an Indian and Pakistani restaurant on Kirk Lane in Bearsden. As well as a welcoming, contemporary decor, Raja Rani offers a warm, elegant service. Raja Rani means king and queen and the staff aim to give their customers a suitably royal welcome. Whether you are celebrating with friends and family; looking for a quiet mid-week supper or having a romantic Saturday night dinner with your nearest and dearest, Raja Rani has a table for you.
Authentic Indian menu with a few surprises
If you want a lamb bhuna, chicken pasanda or prawn jaipuri curry then Raja Rani’s chefs are happy to produce all the well-loved classics. There is an extensive selection of dishes cooked in the tandoor oven and there are a number of East meets West dishes for those yet to be convinced by Indian cooking. Vegetarian diets are very well catered for.
If you prefer to explore off the most well beaten menu tracks, Raja Rani has lots to offer. From southern Indian stuffed dosa pancakes to street food like the filled paratha kathi roll, there are lots of less obvious choices. An example might be the lamb rara – a slow-cooked, North Indian dish that combines lamb pieces with lamb mince in a highly flavoured sauce.
