Modern bar & restaurant in Bearsden
Den is a stylish, modern bar & restaurant set on Drymen Road in the leafy suburb of Bearsden on Glasgow’s north side. The menu at Den is a combination of bar food favourites and British cuisine so caters to all culinary tastes. Along with an extensive wine list and classic cocktails, the friendly ambience of Den offers visitors a warm embrace and and comforting dining experience.
Local produce for freshly made food
Den’s chefs use local, seasonal produce and attention to detail to serve up great-tasting dishes for lunch, dinner and weekend brunches. The menus occasionally offer a taste of the exotic, like the homemade falafel with flatbread, salad and tzatziki, or the sharing platter between two consisting of cured chorizo, saucisson (the French equivalent of salami), olives, Manchego cheese and fresh bread.
Various chargrilled burgers are also available at Den, along with classic mains such as Den’s macaroni cheese, the rosemary Scotch lamb with colcannon mash & mint sauce and the moules frites (fresh Scottish mussels in a white wine cream sauce). Special mention, however, goes to consistent customer favourite, the beer battered haddock with rosemary salt chips.
