    Yes ,we would love to go back.

    All three courses were delicious. I especially enjoyed the sea bass which was cooked to perfection. I think the gents would have liked a little more on their plates.The staff were delightful and very attentive.It was nice to reminisce about being on the station platform.

    Superb meal.Really interesting new menu .We had a very tasty ,beautifully presented and served meal ,cooked to perfection

    We keep going back .There is a warm friendly atmosphere and happy well informed staff . The menu changes regularly and always has interesting flavours . The food is always cooked to perfection and presented to delight the eye as well as the taste buds The 3 course special menu is real value for money . The wine complimented the meal beautifully We just keep returning as ofter as we can . Excellent lunch

The Galvin Brasserie de Luxe blends classic French brasserie dishes and local seasonal specialities, especially seafood. It is led by Chris and Jeff Galvin, holders of multiple culinary awards including Michelin stars.Acclaimed Scottish chef Jamie Knox oversees the kitchens.

A large oval bar with a seafood counter forms the centrepiece of the brasserie and signature dishes include the lasagne of Berwick crab with beurre Nantaise, duck confit, boudin noir with red wine sauce and tarte tatin aux pommes.

Daily specials, set menus, the crustacean selection and, of course, immaculate service are all part of the appeal.
