Excellent food with excellent service
A friendly reception on arrival and cheerful reception at the restaurant area.the choice of courses was varied and interesting. There were 4 of us opening with 2 on mussels, one seared scallops and one Stornoway black pudding. All were well presented an thoroughly enjoyed. Main courses varied - lamb, rump steak, sea bass & bass. Waitresses were charming and ensured that everything was served well and that we were happy with the food.Servings were generous, well presented and excellent value. Aimee & Sophie were smiling and friendly throughout and ensured that we had enjoyed our evening.
The only flaw in the evening was when the bill was presented. Unfortunately the waiter who had taken our order had not explained what beers were not included in the deal, so the bill was more than expected. Aimee dealt with our concerns in a caring professional manner to resolve our concerns.

Lovely Sunday dinner
Another fab visit, the food was as good as ever and the service very friendly (it would've scored 5 if we hadn't had to wait so long to get our bill). The January offer of 50% off A La Carte is such good value I will definitely go back soon.

Modern Scottish restaurant in Fountainpark
Fahrenheit Restaurant & Bar is part of the Genting Club casino at Fountainpark in Edinburgh. Diners do not need to hit the gaming tables to enjoy an evening here. The food, including specially selected and aged Scotch steaks, is more than enough of an attraction. Night owls may relish the fact that the kitchen serves until the small hours seven nights a week.
Watch chefs in glass-fronted kitchen
If you tire of following the action on the gaming tables, the glass fronted kitchen at Fahrenheit Restaurant & Bar allows diners to watch the chefs at work. Scotch steaks take pride of place on the menu but there are lots of other great choices.
From mussels steamed in sake, soy and ginger to loin of Scotch venison via farm assured chicken stuffed with haggis, the menu takes its culinary cue from around the world. Trying out desserts like the lime and ginger scented cheesecake with a blueberry and gin compote is no gamble at h3. Modern Scottish restaurant in Fountainpark
