This cosy Brougham Street tapas bar has a rustic interior, cheery atmosphere and some of the most authentic tapas in Edinburgh. When it was opened by a group of Spanish friends, El Quijote wanted to serve real Spanish food and if that meant serving less familiar dishes then so be it. The result is a friendly restaurant serving dishes such as pork cheek stew; wild mushroom croquettes and deep-fried cuttlefish. Many regulars swear by the range of specialist Iberian pork cuts like the juicy presa.
