Swanston Brasserie is on Swanston Road by Swanston Golf club to the south of Edinburgh. With stunning views of the Pentland Hills and the city, the brasserie is open to golfers and non-golfers alike. Many of the ingredients used by the chefs are produced by the adjacent Swanston Farm. During the sunny months, the patio and beer garden are always popular.
Farm fresh and seasonal ingredients
Lamb, beef and chicken from Swanston Farm are used extensively in Swanston Brasserie. Typical dishes include the lamb tikka masala and the 8oz beef burger which are made with lamb and beef from the farm. Popular seafood options include the Scottish scampi and the beer-battered Aberdeen haddock. There is also a selection of pizzas, nachos and piri piri chicken to choose from..
Desserts range from a light panna cotta with rhubarb and ginger compote to a traditional jam roly poly.
There is also a children’s menu and a breakfast menu packed with choices like the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, French toast and, of course, the full cooked breakfast.

Swanston Brasserie is on Swanston Road, just of the A720 by the Biggar Road turn off. There is free parking on site. Swanston Golf Club, Pentland Hills Regional Park and the dry ski slope at Midlothian Snowsport Centre are all nearby attractions.
