About Chop House Bruntsfield
Quality steakhouse in Bruntsfield
Chop House Bruntsfield is the largest branch of this small Edinburgh restaurant family of steak specialists. Here you can tuck into high-quality steaks washed down with bespoke cocktails, craft beer or wine, all while enjoying views across The Meadows. The Chop House serves the very best British beef, which is dry-aged in-house for 35 to 90 days in a Himalayan salt chamber for tenderness and flavour. The decor is chic and contemporary, offering a smart backdrop for enjoying steaks prepared with true passion and care.
Flame-grilled, dry-aged beef
At Chop House Bruntsfield you can enjoy sharing steaks such as Chateaubriand, Porterhouse and bone-in-rib or generous individual cuts like rump, sirloin and fillet. All are cooked on an open-flame charcoal grill for a smoky flavour, then served with a choice of sauce.
A speciality is the Glenarm Estate salt-aged shorthorn, while other grill options include surf & turf with hanger steak, lobster tail and béarnaise; coal-roasted chicken with chimichurri; sugar pit pork chop with truffle butter mash, and a burger with dry-cured bacon.
If seafood is your bag then you can tuck into a whole or half lobster, while veggies can sample the sweet potato gnocchi.
