About Diablo Loco
Lively Mexican-style dining in Old Town
Diablo Loco is a restaurant, bar and entertainment venue in Old Town serving Mexican-style pub grub. Inside, a Day of the Dead mural, neon signage and eclectic beats all amp up the vibe. Promising to make your taste buds sizzle, dishes are inspired by a family-style culinary culture combined with Scottish produce. This would be an ideal destination to add some rocket fuel to a night out with friends.
Hearty and flavoursome dishes
Diablo Loco offers an earthy yet creative menu that is focused on flavour all the way. You can choose between mains, tacos and sharing dishes, as well as a burrito and quesadilla selection at lunchtime.
Although the menu can change, expect dishes like the chargrilled marinated hanger steak, the chipotle glazed pork belly and the Yucatan buttermilk chicken burger. Or maybe you will fancy trying out the Baja fish taco or the baked chicken enchilada. Veggies won’t go hungry either and can tuck into either crispy avocado or pulled chilli jackfruit tacos. If you fancy sharing, you have a choice of the Tequila flamed cheese fondue or the nachos locos with drunken beans.
El Diablo Loco believes that the act of drinking should be an experience in itself. For this reason, it has shaken up flavours and textures to create a distinctive drinks list heavily influenced by the other side of the Rio Grande. Choices include cocktails like El Diablo and Aztec Sacrifice, margaritas, tequila, mezcal, shots, wines and craft beers. A house speciality is tequila squirted from a shotgun.
