About Cafe Andaluz Old Town George IV Bridge
-
The food was a good size portion and very tasty, great variety of food too.
The staff where lovely but we had 4 different members of staff I think it must have been shift changes but an excellent lunch.

Spanish tapas restaurant on George IV Bridge
Café Andaluz Old Town opened on Edinburgh’s George IV Bridge in the autumn of 2017. As the name would suggest, Café Andaluz looks like an appealing cross between a Moorish garden courtyard and a venerable Seville bodega. The beautiful blue and white ceramic bull that greets diners on entrance is always a talking point. Please note that Café Andaluz has two branches in Edinburgh. Please check you are reserving the correct location before completing your booking.
Spanish tapas to share
Café Andaluz Old Town serves a wide, but not overwhelming, range of sharing plates, tapas and paella along with plenty of Spanish wines and cocktails. The tapas are divided into veggie, meat and seafood sections with ingredients such as the mussels, king scallops and squid coming from Scotland’s West Coast.
Familiar options such as the Spanish tortilla and calamari line up alongside dishes such as king prawns in a saffron and coriander batter; baked aubergines and pork cheeks in a red wine sauce with shallots, thyme and garlic. Ideal for sharing, the paellas are cooked with Calasparra rice, grown in the region around the ancient city of Murcia in southern Spain.
Edinburgh Old Town transport and attractions
Café Andaluz Old Town is on George IV Bridge, just around the corner from the Royal Mile on one side and the National Museum of Scotland on the other. Waverley train station and the tram line are a ten minute walk. There is limited on-street parking.
