Edinburgh Old Town Restaurants

History exudes from every corner of Edinburgh's Old Town. A labyrinth of cobbled streets, narrow alleyways and hidden courtyards, it is one of the best preserved medieval cities in the world.

Today it hosts a number of restaurants, bars, and cafes, as well as throngs of tourists, peaking during August festival season.

From five star hotels to traditional Scottish fare to stunning views of the castle, dining out in Edinburgh's Old Town is sure to be a memorable experience.

Booked lunch for 6 through 5pm deals for the pre theatre menu. The menu has a great choice. Food was delicious and very well presented. We were all very impressed with everything. We will definitely return. Thank you.

Really excellent afternoon tea. Good choice of sandwiches and tiny cakes, with very good tea and a delicious glass of Prosecco. The staff were all so charming and full of attentions. Very nice decor as well. Very good deal value. We will certainly be back!

Well-presented and tasty food. Service good, but would prefer water jug to be left on the table, to avoid asking for more.

Was lovely place, great atmosphere and service but the Pollo Milanese was dreadful, which was very disappointing
