The Scottish Cafe and Restaurant Review

  • Rating Great food, poor service (Rating 3.6/5)
When we arrived we were told there was no booking in my name, despite me having the reservation email, and they were busy so we had to wait for a table. The food was wonderful, the pigeon was done to perfection and the chicken was divine! But the waiter and waitresses kept asking us if we were finished despite the fact we were still obviously eating. So we felt rushed to leave, even though we were really enjoying our meal. When we did ask for our bill we then had to wait a while for it to arrive and then even longer for the card machine. Which was surprising considering they clearly wanted our table back! I would go back purely for the quality of the food though.
