Attended on 1st December with my friends. We had a fantastic time. We would definitely be recommending this to others and we will be back. The staff were really nice and the food was lovely.

City centre brasserie with incredible views

Spectacular panoramas of Edinburgh Castle and the Old Town are a major draw at the Princes Street Brasserie. The dining room and lounge have a smart, contemporary decor but most diners will find their eyes glued to the views. With menus that range from sharing plates and nibbles to three course dinners, the Brasserie is ideal for every occasion from quick shopping trip re-fuelling stops to family celebrations.

Well presented brasserie dishes

Princes Street Brasserie uses fresh, local produce across extensive breakfast, lunch, dinner and set menus. Main courses range from the braised chicken leg, with a white bean and smoked ham hock cassoulet to the Thai red curry. The Chef’s signature dishes include options such as the maple-roast pork belly with a sausage and butterbean stack, pear and apple purée and sea salt crackling. A grill section offers burgers, the fish of the day and, of course, the ever popular rib-eye steak which is dry-aged for 28 days.

Edinburgh city centre transport and attractions

Princes Street Brasserie is just 200 metres from Waverley train station. The tram line and dozens of major bus routes run along Princes Street. There is limited pay parking on George Street. From Edinburgh Castle to the luxury boutique shops of Multrees Walk, many of the capital’s major attractions are within easy walking distance.
