I'd booked an early evening table which was meant to be available for 2 hours and we were going to choose from the Market Menu. We stayed longer and nobody tried to remove us, which was just brilliant. We also decided to choose the Wine Flight (I'd done this on a previous visit and it's bliss!) as I wanted to let my friend see what a lovely venue it is. Neither of us was disappointed. The food was utterly delicious and we went mad by having 3 courses. The sommelier was charming and we were both in awe of just how well the wines complemented our different choices. It also meant we didn't have to have a compromise bottle of wine to share! My friend and I were there for a good catch up and the restaurant was ideal for that. I've been for a significant birthday and an anniversary. Go on, spoil yourself and our total bill (forgot to mention the gin and tonic aperitifs, coffee and Calvados!) was £106. We both thought that was pretty fantastic for the whole evening.
