    C'est Fantastique!

Booked the early dinner meal deal for 2 courses at 5.30pm on Saturday 22nd November. Arrived early due to the torrential rain and were immediately welcomed to a table in the bar area. The staff were so attentive. The menu was delicious and portion sizes were great value for money. Great ambience with French speaking staff .The ladies I introduced to this restaurant were very impressed and will defo make a return visit. Bon appetit!

    Hidden Little Gem

Just back from a beautiful dinner with my husband for his birthday. Lovely food, atmosphere and value for money. I will definitely be going back, food absolutely delicious, I recommend the mussels and the snails for starters, the steak for the main and the chocolate torte for dessert. Staff are so friendly and welcoming, I would recommend this place to anyone.

Popular French bistro in Edinburgh’s West End

The sister restaurant to L’Escargot Bleu on Broughton Street, L’Escargot Blanc is an atmospheric French bistro on Queensferry Street in Edinburgh’s West End. Vintage French posters and monochrome photos give it a dash of Parisian chic while the food is simple but packed with flavour and very carefully sourced. Many would say that the two L’Escargot restaurants are among the most authentic French restaurants in Edinburgh.

Impeccably sourced, Provincial French cooking

The finest Scottish produce and traditional French cooking make an appealing partnership at L’Escargot Blanc. Typical starters might be the Scottish gravadlax salmon with asparagus or the grilled snails with garlic, parsley and hazelnut butter.

Main courses might include a traditional bouillabaisse fish soup or coq au vin made with Gartmorn chickens. The two person rib of beef, carved at the table, is a carnivorous dream. The cheeseboard features well conditioned French and Scottish cheeses. As well as an a la carte, L’Escargot Blanc runs a good value lunch and early evening menu.
