About Juniper Bar
Chic cocktail bar in Central Edinburgh
With its illuminated glass-fronted exterior, Juniper on Princes Street makes a very stylish first impression. Inside, you will find an imaginative cocktail spot offering city skyline views, plush purple seating and an engraved wooden bar. Alternatively, you can cosy up in the quieter Library area with its big picture windows, comfy chairs and original fireplace.
Creative mixers and light dishes
Juniper specialises in conjuring up classic and creative cocktails with a theatrical flourish. Every concoction is made to order and choices include Cherry Brownie Cheesecake, Tipsy Duchess and even a wizardly Strawberries and Steam potion for sharing. If cocktails aren’t your thing, then there is also wine, beer and an impressive collection of premium spirits, including a few more unusual brands.
The light bites menu offers a selection of tasty nibbles such as jalapeño poppers with tomato chilli jam; crispy salt & pepper squid with palm sugar & mint dressing; and the sausage taster with sample bangers from South Africa, France, Germany and Morocco. The house special is the Juniper Hot Wings, a crispy chicken dish with the bar’s famous smoked bird’s eye chilli sauce.
