Fantastic meal, drinks and service again!
I had booked and had to call to change the time due to train delays. The staff were brilliant. When we arrived the service was first class and the food was brilliant. We will definitely be back soon!

Colourful urban eatery on George Street
Promising diner-style dishes for the Instagram age, Candy Bar serves up fresh, fast and feel-good food from lunch till late. Part of the award-winning Montpeliers group, the drinks menu includes forward-thinking cocktails, carefully selected wines and a host of hoppy treasures from craft breweries across the UK. The interior is a plush, grownup diner space decked out in shades of copper, silver and violet with comfy booths and nifty pink chairs. Regular pizza & prosecco specials, quiz nights and DJs on a Friday and Saturday all add fizz to the atmosphere.
Burgers, pizzas and creative diner grub
Candy Bar serve up hearty, flavoursome food presented with flair. Menus can change but expect highlights such as the ravioli nachos, the lettuce tacos and the crispy waffle pancakes.
The 12-inch stone-baked sourdough pizzas include delights such as the crispy duck & hoi sin, the ham & portobello mushrooms and the roast butternut squash. Burger choices include the Aberdeen Angus with Monterey Jack cheese, the breaded chicken ‘parmo’ burger with macaroni cheese sauce and the crispy halloumi & avocado.
Wash it all down with cocktails in pitchers and if you’ve got room for pudding, maybe consider the gluten-free naughty chocolate cake, the American baked cheesecake with blueberries or the banana split.
