Amarone Edinburgh Review

  • Rating Shocking service (Rating 2.2/5)
This is my second visit to Amarone in Edinburgh and will definitely be my last. My first visit was over the festive period so assumed the level of service was due to the restaurant being busy. Last night, there was no excuse for the shocking lack of attention. It took 3 waiters to explain the specials due to lack of knowledge. The drinks order for 3 people was taken and a minute later had to be checked again as the waiter had forgotten. My friends potatoes were so hard we could hear her knife clanking against her plate when she cut into it as she had to put a bit of pressure on the knife, these were left uneaten. She did comment on this and an apology was given.
