The Lantern Room is an informal restaurant and bar on Baxter's Place by Edinburgh Playhouse. Opened at the end of 2016, it has a smart, contemporary decor and serves everything from lunch and afternoon tea to after work drinks and dinner. The waiting staff are as welcoming as they are professional and the bar staff are always happy to mix up a cocktail. The spacious heated terrace is great for people watching, perhaps over a sun downer or two.

A welcoming bar and restaurant on Edinburgh's famous Rose Street, 1780 is popular with locals and visitors alike. A ten minute saunter from the capital's theatre district, it is also extremely convenient for a refreshment stop during a raid on the city centre shops.
