An independent, family-run business, Roseleaf is a fun, neighbourhood bar on Sandport Place. A pleasing mix of traditional Leith pub and contemporary bar with kitchen, they cook everything from scratch. Seasonal and locally sourced ingredients are used as far as is possible. Typical dishes on the regularly changing menus might be the Punjabi-style chickpea curry; the Cullen skink chowder; the flat iron steak or the macaroni cheese made with a lightly truffled, smoked applewood cheddar sauce.
