About Papillon
British and American bar food
Papillon prides itself on placing its own unique twist on gastro pub classics. The menu features cuisine from the UK and across the Atlantic, with a range of house sauces adding to the flavour-rich selection. You can wash it all down with a classic or craft cocktail.
Menus can change, by highlights of the starters include the salt ‘n’ pepper squid with house chilli jam and the poutine of the week.
Mains features classics like the mac ‘n’ cheese with a herb crust, the IPA-battered fish & chips and the pork ribs covered in house BBQ sauce. Or if you’d prefer a burger or sandwich, you can tuck into favourites like the homemade-style double steak burger, the Southern fried buttermilk chicken burger and the Philly cheesesteak sub.
The menu has a few surprises as well, including the Southern fried Atlantic prawn sub sandwich, the New England clam chowder and the Louisiana-style vegan jambalaya.
You could also opt for a sharing platter piled high with BBQ pork ribs, beef brisket, Southern fried buttermilk chicken, buffalo wings, pulled pork, spicy sausage, pickles and slaw, as well as two sides and two sauces.
If you’ve got room for dessert, the bananas foster or sticky toffee pudding might just hit the spot.
