About Quattrozero

Excellent
We were early arriving for our table but we were welcomed and shown to our table as soon as we arrived. Our orders for food and drinks were taken after we had time to look at what was on offer. Starters arrived and were really good especially my Italian meats platter which was huge and filled with lots of Parma ham and other meats as well as mozzerella salad and olives! Mains were lovely too as was the tiramisu desert. All in all a great Christmas meal experience.

Fashionable city centre Italian restaurant
Quattrozero is a stylish, modern Italian restaurant set on Queensferry Street in Edinburgh’s city centre. The restaurant is a short distance from West Princes Street Gardens and Edinburgh Castle and serves traditional Italian fare, from wood burning oven-baked pizzas (1/2 or full metres) to pastas packed full of flavour. Quattrozero is also child-friendly with highchairs available and is accessible to wheelchair users.
Relaxed dining in a comfortable atmosphere
The restaurant’s open view kitchen adds to the ambience and there is also a small seated bar area with anything from cocktails to milkshakes on offer. Chef favourites include calzone (a folded pizza base stuffed with various toppings); the house speciality tagliatelle Quattrozero (with mixed field and porcini mushrooms, homemade spicy Italian sausage, a meaty tomato ragu, and Parmesan & cream); and the pollo al prosciutto (chicken breast topped with ham, mozzarella cheese & asparagus with cream & tomato, served with garlicky green beans & roast potatoes).
Diners who have managed to save themselves for a dessert may feel spoiled for choice as Quattrozero offers the traditional tiramisu along with ice creams, sorbets and the rather retro banana split (vanilla ice cream, a whole banana, fresh double cream and chocolate flake).
City centre location, accessible transport links
Quattrozero is set on Queensferry Street in Edinburgh’s city centre and is only a 15 minute walk from both Haymarket and Waverley train stations, with Edinburgh Bus Station a 20 minute walk away. Numerous bus stops are nearby as well as many taxi ranks.
