Arrived at 19.30 with my family and friends, we were given a warm welcome by the girl at the front door, who took us up to our table...beautiful building...but we were practically the only people there besides another two tables...but the 'hall' needs filled to create an atmosphere. Food was ok, nothing special for £25 per person (5pm offer was £20.95, but not even worth that to be honest!). The service was excellent and the waiters/waitresses could be more helpful, but the food didn't live up my expectations of 'fine dining'...it was a 'set menu' of three choices per course, which all read really well, but when it arrived, i was really disappointed. I ordered the potted prawns starter and it looked more like separated prawn cocktail on a flat plate with a piece of tesco finest brown sliced bread. I doubt I would recommend this restaurant.
