Lovely decor, nice atmosphere. Good value, and I liked the availability of light mains as well as "proper" main courses. The free bottle of house white wine was very acceptable. My dining partner made better food choices than I did - his 3 kinds of smoked salmon starter and chicken with haggis and whisky sauce were very well received. The swede mash was 90% carrot, however. My tiger prawns were on a sad looking bed of rocket, and were not as nice as M&S' garlic & coriander prawns I'm afraid! Salmon & crayfish ravioli was undercooked - I know how difficult it is to get the timing right when cooking ravioli, but this was not right. Lovely coffee.
