    Outstanding in every way

Located on the second floor of Princes Square, our table was on the terrace which had a lovely outside feeling. Our waiter, Simon, was attentive, but unobtrusive and knowledgeable. The food was stunning, my scallop starter and lemon sole main course were perfect, and my wife's vegetarian dishes were equally excellent, as were the home made truffles and creme brûlée. Faultless, and very good value considering the quality.

    Great Restaurant

This was a lovely restaurant. There is a lot of choice on the set menu and it is excellent value. We all really enjoyed our meals. We received very good service and were not hurried to leave. It was the ideal place for a catch up with friends.

    Really nice

We had the Sunday roast with all the trimmings, the vegetables were cooked perfectly in a honey glaze I suspect and the beef was very tasty. Will definitely go back.

Maybe Sunday is not a good day to go?

Have eaten here a few times and have enjoyed most of the food. Went this time on a Sunday and a couple of the dishes we like were not available, specifically the puri and the chick peas. The paratha at Horn Please is the worst I have ever tasted (both stuffed and plain) and not having the delicious puri available was a major disappointment. (Would suggest they go to Asda where they sell a frozen paratha which is perfect). Our favourite lamb rack with a crust was pretty crustless though still wonderfully tender, and the filo pastry parcels were as delicious as usual though strangely not on the menu. Do ask for them. To be honest we were a bit underwhelmed on this visit.

Lovely wine, awesome cheeseboard and great advice

First time in Marchtown and was really impressed. Purchased the big deal which was great - there were 6 suggested wines with it, but and we were told about each one but reassured that if they didn't sound appealing there were over 100 others to choose from. We went for one of the suggested reds (and got a bottle of cava to take away), and it was delicious. The cheeseboard in the offer can be changed to a meat and cheeseboard for the same price, and it was really generous and everything on it was delicious. As well as cheese and meat there were loads of nuts, different crackers, bread, chutneys and olives. Definitely going back soon!
