    Mix up with booking

Booked through 5pm and selected a 7.30 seating which was confirmed in the email. When we arrived we were told they had the booking for 6pm and that as we didn't show up they they didn't expect us. I did prove to them by showing the confirmation email. But they said to go to the bar and they would sort out a table for us no problem. So worked out in the end.

Traditional Scottish & Indian dishes in Fenwick, Ayrshire

Situated in the picturesque village of Fenwick, The Fenwick Hotel is a popular dining destination in East Ayrshire. Decked out in plush modern decor, the restaurant is a chic spot for a meal with friends and family or a romantic dinner. Children are welcome.

Local specialities and North-West Indian dishes

The chefs at The Fenwick Hotel like to source locally and use seasonal ingredients to create their menus. The food offer is designed to appeal to all tastes. Typical starters might be the smoked haddock and clam chowder or the haggis, neeps and tatties. Less trad Scottish options might be the crispy king prawn tempura, the chicken pakora or the pork belly with a roasted plum, pine nut and apple salad.
The main courses are just as diverse. The Fenwick Hotel steak pie has many fans as does the house butter chicken curry. As well as a range of steaks, there is a selection of pasta, risotto, cous cous and salads. On Sundays, the carvery is always popular. Desserts might be the mocha panna cotta, a sticky toffee pudding or something from the range of locally produced ice creams and sorbets.
