    We will be back

I arranged a stop in the Fenwick hotel en route to another hotel in Ayrshire for a special treat for my partner and I. I only wish we had stayed the full weekend at the Fenwick. The lunch menu was excellent and we both had steak pie and the whole meal was an absolute treat. The steak pie meat was cooked to perfection and melted as soon as you ate it, the dish was complemented with mash and a new potato and seasonal vegetables. Just perfect, we then finished off with crumble and custard a lovely meal to start our weekend and will certainly go back to stay and enjoy further samples of their menu. Anyone considering going to the Fenwick, you won't be disappointed.

    Can't wait to return

We went to the Fenwick hotel before attending an event in Kilmarnock and I only came across it after searching on 5pm.com and thought we would give it a go. Boy! Am I glad we did. Food was fabulous. The restaurant was also lovely and had a very nice atmosphere. Wasn't too busy when we attended (4:30) but started to fill up as we were leaving. The menu was great value for money - 3 courses for £12.95 and a good selection to choose from. No complaints at all about any of our choices - the haggis bon bons were amazing - my only complaint, there wasn't more! Overall we had a great experience here and I would definitely return just to have a nice meal. Keep up the good work!

Traditional Scottish & Indian dishes in Fenwick, Ayrshire

Local specialities and North-West Indian dishes

The chefs at The Fenwick Hotel like to source locally and use seasonal ingredients to create their menus. The food offer is designed to appeal to all tastes. Typical starters might be the smoked haddock and clam chowder or the haggis, neeps and tatties. Less trad Scottish options might be the crispy king prawn tempura, the chicken pakora or the pork belly with a roasted plum, pine nut and apple salad.
The main courses are just as diverse. The Fenwick Hotel steak pie has many fans as does the house butter chicken curry. As well as a range of steaks, there is a selection of pasta, risotto, cous cous and salads. On Sundays, the carvery is always popular. Desserts might be the mocha panna cotta, a sticky toffee pudding or something from the range of locally produced ice creams and sorbets.
