About Grand Cru
This is a wonderful lunch, would definitely recommend salmon with rice. The fish and chips also of a high quality. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. As restaurant was very busy our main course was rather slow in arriving, the staff apologised for this and then manager also apologised and presented us with complimentary bottle of prosecco. We will definitely return to this restaurant and certainly recommend it to friends.

Just off the George Street party circuit, it is a popular spot for lunching workers and shoppers as well as the evening post-work or pre-club crowd. Continental classics & modern bar food
At Grand Cru on Edinburgh’s Hanover Street, the menus combine Mediterranean influences with contemporary bar food favourites. Starters range from fresh avocado, mozzarella and tomato salad to classic chicken liver pâté, creamy mushroom crostini to duck spring rolls. Mains retain an Italian accent in chorizo and chicken penne, calamari fritti and risotto verde, but also offer their take on fajitas.
The char-grilled sirloin steak is the star of a grill menu that includes a varied selection of handmade burgers, a vegetarian version, and Halloumi with roasted peppers, courgette, and aubergine. Crème brulee and the cheesecake of the day lead the dessert creations.
