    Lovely high tea

Really enjoyed a high tea and boozy cakes. Guineas and chilli & tequila cakes - yum. The set menu was good although a bit limited for our veggie pal. She did however get a meal from the main menu and opted for no cake. Would recommend - service was super and loads of tea!

    Amazing value for money

I came along with my mum, sister, aunt and gran. We all thought it was such good value for money as the food was amazing - especially the chips! We did not expect such good portion sizes with the price we were paying. The service was great and the cakes were yummy too! Thank you for a lovely start to our family night out!

Friendly, relaxed environment away from the pressures of life

It was almost like being at your granny's - eclectic and charming, all at once. Good wholesome food and plenty of it. Friendly, welcoming service from staff. If any downsides, I'd say that playing background music wasn't great added to the general chatter of other guests - the acoustics are poor for all that noise going on and sometimes our table conversation wasn't easy. We mentioned we were a bit pushed for time and our food was very promptly served. We even got a discount from the 5pm price for having no room in our tummies to indulge in the delicious looking cakes and not wanting to take our portions away with us (we were going to the theatre). Highly recommended.

    Fantastic value for money

Great food - fish and chips for all 4 of us dining. Especially loved the hammy peas! All 4 of us had a different cake and each of them were delish. Looking forward to my next visit.
