    Excellent Afternoon Tea

We had an excellent afternoon tea, not a sandwich in sight. All the choices that we had within the afternoon tea were delicious. The only thing I would say is that the food could have been warmer for the items that were slightly heated. The atmosphere of the lounge is lovely and different, will definitely visit again

    Afternoon tea

Made reservation for afternoon tea with friends, the resturant was a nice size with a good atmosphere, not too busy or noisy, able to talk. Tea was nice and there was plenty, anything that was left the waitress wrapped in tinfoil to take away. The service was good but not overbearing. The view was lovely although not at a window seat. Would like to go back for a meal next time.

Service was excellent. A beautiful setting but lacked atmosphere

Food was good although was definitely prepared in advance as outward facing parts of the sandwiches had become hard which spoiled it a bit. The waiting staff were very polite, attentive and explained the menu clearly. The restaurant and hotel itself are beautifully designed however for some reason there was a distinct lack of atmosphere. Half of the restaurant was in darkness and there were perhaps another 6 or 7 tables occupied while we were there. I don't think there was music on.
