The Loch Lomond Arms Hotel is situated in Luss, one of the most picturesque villages in Scotland.

Located on the edge of Loch Lomond, its rose covered sandstone cottages and quaint streets were the setting for long running tv show Take The High Road.

The hotel dates back to the 17th century when it welcomed travellers as a coaching inn.
The rooms are welcoming and quaint, with tartan blanket, plump pillows, antique furniture and vintage prints.

But guests needn’t feel they’re stepping back in time too far – free high-speed WiFi is available throughout the hotel.

Comfort food dishes

The Loch Lomond Arms Hotel has a bar restaurant which serves comfort food dishes created using quality Scottish ingredients.

Guests can tuck into mains like North Sea Ale battered haddock and chips, Crombie’s of Edinburgh bangers and mash, and the pie of the day. Desserts like baked apple and winter berry crumble with gingerbread ice cream and warm clementine, polenta and almond sponge with custard taste even better when it’s chilly outside.

The bar has an extensive drinks menu with a carefully curated wine list, 51 varieties of whisky, Scottish gins and a number of local craft ales on tap.

When there weather is milder, guests can enjoy food or drinks in the hotel’s garden (which has outdoor heaters when the temperature drops).

For those who’d prefer to stay indoors, the bar’s log fire keeps things cosy.
