Scenic Stirlingshire getaway

Based at the famous Falls of Dochart, the village of Killin boasts the Breadalbane mountains as its backdrop. Handily, it is only around 90 minutes from Glasgow.

Seven charming holiday homes within the area, all clustered around a beautifully landscaped courtyard. All have views of either the woodlands, mountains or fields.

These stylish holiday escapes are all well-equipped and have free WiFi, two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with a thermostatic shower), a luxurious open plan living area, and a kitchen with an oven, dishwasher, fridge and washer/dryer.

Each house also has an external storage area where you can store up to four bikes and other equipment.

Wildlife, whisky and wonders

There is plenty to do in the surrounding area beyond the lovely loch and the Falls of Dochart. For instance, Ben Lawers National Nature Reserve and The Trossachs are both on the doorstep.

There are quite a few nice pubs and eating spots in Killin too where you can cosy up with a hearty meal. Golfing, fishing, off-road driving, cycling, mountain climbing and watersports are other nearby activities.

Or you could go on a drive to Dewar’s whisky distillery or Blair Drummond Safari Park.
