The luxury hotel has had a recent multi-million pound refurbishment and looks as spectacular as its surroundings. It is around a twenty minute drive from Glasgow but is so peaceful that it feels a million miles from everyday life.

Elegant rooms

Each of the hotel’s seventy-five luxurious rooms enjoyed a gorgeous overhaul during the refurbishment process. Many offered spectacular views of the Clyde or the manicured golf course.

All rooms are elegantly decorated with stylish colour schemes. Features include free WiFi, 24-hour room service, LCD TVs with digital channels, tea and coffee makers, free local calls and free bottled water.

Dine with a view

The aptly named VISTA restaurant offers beautiful views of the River Clyde and Ben Lomond. The regularly updating menus are crafted from fresh, local produce.

Sample main courses from the market menu might be the pan-seared bream with couscous and tomato dressing or the braised shin of beef with mushroom purée, kale and herb croquette accompanied by a bacon & mushroom sauce.

Afterwards you can relax with a drink in either the Dram whisky bar or The Nineteenth golf course bar.

Swimming pool and spa

The Imperia spa at Gleddoch offers a range of relaxing facilities. You can swim in the heated indoor pool or take it easy in the Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.

For those looking to burn energy, there is a fully equipped gym and you can also enjoy a spa treatment from a professional therapist. A range of Elemis and Ishga products are used.

Championship golf course

Widely regarded as being one of the most scenic in the West of Scotland, the 18-hole Championship layout course is one of Gleddoch’s biggest attractions. There is also a 4-hole Academy course and a 300-yard practice ground with covered bays.

Gleddoch Hotel is within easy driving distance of some fascinating historic attractions, including Newark Castle, Stirling Castle and Paisley Abbey.
