There are two restaurants at The Angus Hotel: The Bay Tree and The Jute Mills.

Whichever one you choose, the style of food is contemporary yet true to the hotel’s Highland heritage. Sample dishes include Scottish landed haddock with home-cooked chips and braised Scotch lamb shank with mash.

The Bay Tree serves the finest seasonal local cuisine in a relaxed setting. The Jute Mills offers a tempting buffet spread in an airy space with a terrace section (should you fancy al fresco dining on finer evenings). You can also enjoy a relaxed bar meal or a G&T in The Lounge.

Bright and modern rooms

The hotel’s comfortable ensuite guests rooms all have flat screen TVs with satellite, plus free WiFi, fluffy towels and a hot drinks tray.

Or if you’d prefer a little shopping or sightseeing, then Dundee, Dunkeld, Perth, Scone Palace and Glamis Castle and all a 30-minute drive away. You could also enjoy a tipsy tour of Persie craft gin distillery.

Glorious golfing is within easy reach at the famous Blairgowrie Rosemount Club, while Gleneagles, Carnoustie and St. Andrews are all around an hour away.
