Space restaurant

DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Strathclyde’s Space restaurant serves classic, comforting bistro style dishes.

Starters on the menu include smoked chicken Caesar salad with cos lettuce, parmesan and croutons, and beetroot and cashel blue tart with wild rocket and horseradish creme fraiche.

Mains on the menu include pan fried chicken supreme served with Parisienne potatoes, creamed leeks, wild mushroom and white truffle oil, and pan fried salmon fillet served with sauté Jersey royals, sugar snap peas with lemon and dill butter.

Those with a sweet tooth will not be able to resist dishes like chocolate delice served with whipped cream and salted caramel cheesecake with butterscotch sauce.

Starbucks coffee is served in the hotel lounge.

Spa and leisure facilities

DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Strathclyde’s spa and leisure facilities provide the ultimate relaxation.

The leisure area boasts two saunas, two steam rooms and two spa pools as well as an indoor heated 20 metre swimming pool.

There are five treatment rooms in the spa area, offering a variety of treatments including spray tans, manicures, massages and mud treatments.

Those who can’t miss a workout can take advantage of the hotel’s top of the range gym.

Great base

DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Strathclyde is a great base for visiting Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling and Falkirk. It is a twenty minute drive to Glasgow, a one hour drive to Edinburgh and 30 minute drives to Stirling and Falkirk, all directly along the motorway.

The hotel also works as a great base for exploring all the sights of nearby Lanarkshire, including Strathclyde Country Park which is just an eight minute drive away.
